No long boat rides in wavy seas, the second largest coral reef in the world lies 100 yards away for PA's main beach.
Dive Aventuras, a PADI 5 Star IDC center, is located poolside in the Omni Hotel, right in the heart of the Puerto Aventuras marina area.
 Activities
Spectacular caribbean reefs are only a 10 minute boat ride from the marina. One of our three boats will quickly transport you to dive sites that are uncrowded, rich with coral and sponges, and host to hundreds of species of fish. The current here is generally mild, thus excellent for new and experienced divers alike. Also closeby are the magnificent cenotes, a world class diving experience unlike any other. This unique system of underwater caverns is easily dived with only an open water certification.

It takes just a quick 15 minute boat ride to reach the Tortugas Reef (70´) in Playa Del Carmen. This is one of the most exciting dive sites in our area where we regularly encounter turtles, barracudas and (depending on the season) schools of tarpon.
The Mexican Cenotes have the reputation of being one the worlds finest fresh water caverns. We are fortunate to have some of the very best right at our door steps. After a short drive into the jungle we encounter crystal clear water (visibility above 150´) and incredible limestone formations - all immersed in a magical play of sunlight. The Cenotes are large and cathedral like; we dive in small groups of 4 divers.
